Thibaud is both a chef and an expert in pop culture, and he has been working in pop culture for the last 10 years. The son of a baker, he is passionate about cooking and decided in 2014 to create Gastronogeek®, a bridge between gastronomy and the geek world.
The first big successes of this project have been several geek cookbooks that sold to more than 180.000 copies all together in several countries. They also got a resounding media coverage!
Since then he has kept on exploring the world of pop culture, launching his Youtube channel, Gastronogeek, La Cuisine de l’Imaginaire (more than 125.000 subscribers), on which he posts videos of recipes inspired from the classics of pop culture, Japanese animation, etc.
Come meet Gastronogeek everyday at Japan Expo: he will be performing some of his recipes on the Washoku stage to teach you the dishes from your favorite manga or anime!
