Susaki Ambassador Contest
Is Japan a dream for you? Do you want to live a unique experience and discover the Japanese countryside? If so, don’t hesitate to subscribe to the Susaki Ambassadors Contest, and to try to win an all-inclusive trip.
Presentation
Susaki, from Kochi Prefecture, Shikoku, is a coastal town with authentic landscape, and known for its mascot: Shinjo-kun, very popular in Japan. The Susaki Ambassadors Contest offers a chance to win a few days' trip to Susaki to Japan Expo visitors who have previously registered on the contest website or register directly at the Susaki City booth until July 4th at Japan Expo.
So far, the people who have been selected as ambassadors of the city of Susaki have been able to:
- go to Otonashi shrine and listen to the story of the shrine, told by a shintô priest,
- visit a soy sauce factory and enjoy tasting of the different soy sauces that are made on site at the end of the visit,
- participate in experiences: wearing kimono, tea ceremony, ikebana,
- grill a bonito with straw (specialty of the city of Susaki), etc.
The three ambassadors will be selected during an audition at Japan Expo from July 4 to 7, 2019. For more details, feel free to explore the contest website or to visit the Susaki City booth at Japan Expo (L194, Hall 5A).
