Last summer, Japan Expo premiered We Are X, the documentary about X Japan, J-rock legend and visual kei pioneer, in the presence of Yoshiki, founder of the band. Produced by the Oscar-winning team of Sugar Man and directed by Steven Kijak, the film tells about thirty years of success until the group reunion at Madison Square Garden.
If you missed it – or want to experience it once more –, Paris’s movie theatre UGC Ciné Cité Les Halles will be hosting a new exceptional screening with Yoshiki on October 24 at 8.00 pm, as part of the tour preceding the movie theatre release. For more information about ticketing, follow the news on this page: www.facebook.com/WeareXlefilm. And for more about the other screenings, have a look at www.wearexfilm.com.
The movie will be released in French theatres on December 6, 2017.
