The star of Takarazuka theatre
The Takarazuka Revue is part of Japan’s cultural heritage and it’s with one of its stars that the actress Izuru AMASE that we’re inviting you to discover this show between musical and theatre!

At the opposite of kabuki theatre in which all the parts, male and female alike, are played by men, the Takarazuka Revue is only composed of women, some of them specializing in male parts. Izuru AMASE is one of them: the actress has reached the top of her popularity with her otokoyaku (male) parts.
She is back at Japan Expo to show you performances halfway between musicals and theatre, which she will be playing with other actresses. Don’t miss this unique show and come meet her: she will also me holding signings and a panel.
