Contrary to kabuki, consisting of male actors only – some of them specializing in female parts –, the Takarazuka Revue is only composed of actresses. This theater company has seen many actresses exclusively playing male parts over the years. Takarazuka prodigy Izuru AMASE has done so for a long time. She has now left the troupe and often plays female roles.
She will tell you more about Takarazuka during talk-shows with demonstrations on the Sakura and Yuzu stages, and will allow you to refine your discovery of her art through other activities that will soon be announced!
