Memories of the 19th Impact: manga & anime
Even if the 20th Anniversary is on our mind, it’s still a little too soon to talk about it. So let’s take some time to remember the best moments of the 19th Impact: today, let’s go back over the manga and anime program!
Space Opera was in the spotlight of Japan Expo 19th Impact last July but manga and animation went even further. The festival manga and anime program took you to the worlds of over 50 artists, like Yoshitoki OIMA (To Your Eternity and A Silent Voice) or Atsushi OHKUBO (Fire Force and Soul Eater).
Opportunities to meet them were not scarce with 40 panels and live drawings, and 58 signings at the Sumiré area, and even more at publishers’ booths. Also, among over 33 hours of anime screenings, 10 premieres were featured, 3 of which organized in the evenings to keep the party going after the festival closed its doors and let you discover before everyone else Bungo Stray Dogs – DEAD APPLE –, My Hero Academia: Two Heroes, or L'Attaque des Titans : Le Rugissement de l'Éveil.
