Karasu Stage: dedicated to J-music!

14 showcases in all genres and for all tastes: during the four days of the festival, the Karasu Stage hosted many bands and artists come all the way from Japan to perform a J-music festival of its own!

A must for all J-music fans, Karasu is THE music stage of the festival. On 110 sqm, about 20 bands and artists, famous musicians and tomorrow’s talents, make up to 2,500 people dance and shiver, in the light of over 70 spotlights.

 
 
 
 

Last July, 14 showcases featured the J-pop star Ai OTSUKA (Music Guest of Honor of the festival), the electro-rock group THE SIXTH LIE, the RnB duo ILU GRACE, and the visual kei group DADAROMA. The Karasu Stage is also a place for music discoveries with the J-music Springboards which put in the spotlight CASPA (J-rock), IRON ATTACK! (metal), and Salome no Kuchibiru (rock). The JAPAN EXPO ROCKs, Tokyo Candoll, and Tokyo Candoll -BOYS- contests to make themselves known in Europe and perform on stage at Japan Expo, which was the case with VM5, We=MUSKASHIBANASHI, and Fure Fure Danshi.

 
 

The Karasu Stage also hosted two concerts after the festival, like the Anisong Festa which brought together the anisong stars angela, Mika KOBAYASHI, and miwa, after a first part by the breakdancers Real Akiba Boyz.
