JAGMO is the first professional orchestra specialized in video game music in Japan. Made of young talented musicians, as passionate about music as video games, they interpret the greatest pieces of the video game repertoire!
JAGMO is about to perform their first shows abroad at Japan Expo, with a medley composed for the occasion, for a quartet. The quartet who’ll be at Japan Expo is made of two violins, Mana ITO and Kasumi HIGURASHI, a viola, Noritoshi IKEYA, and a cello, Tomohumi SHIMANE.

After Japan Expo, the video game music orchestra JAGMO will be performing on July 11 and 12 at Tokyo Bunkyo Civic Hall for the show JAGMO – Music Suite for Legendary Battles, with Final Fantasy, Romancing SaGa, Secret of Mana, and Chrono Trigger, in 3 parts:
- 1. July 11 at 1.00 pm (doors opening at 12.30 pm): "For the braves beyond space and time"
- 2. July 11 at 5.00 pm (doors opening at 4.30 pm): "The alighted fight of light and darkness"
- 3. July 12 at 1.00 pm (doors opening at 12.30 pm): "Music suite for legendary battles"
10 pieces from the series Final Fantasy, 5 from Romancing SaGa 3, 3 from Secret of Mana, and 9 from Chrono Trigger compose the new titles presented on this occasion, for a programming centered on battle music with the greatest pieces of the kind of video game music.
After July’s shows, JAGMO will perform in October 2015 (with Japanese anime music), in March 2016 (with video game music), and then August 2016 at Suntory Hall, the biggest concert hall in Japan. As a video game music orchestra representing Japan, JAGMO wishes to surprise and move you by spreading Japanese culture all over the world.
