Festival tip : security
Prohibited items, sanitary measures, entry controls... You have questions about security at the festival? Here is a summary of the main information!
Entry controls
Due to the Vigipirate plan and the state of emergency, the festival's security measures have been reinforced. All visitors will be subject to security checks before entering, and will then be directed to the queues in hall 7. Security guards will systematically check bags and personal belongings, as well as perform pat-downs. Detector checks may also be conducted if necessary.
Prohibited items
As the security level is very high, some objects are not allowed at the entrance. If you come with one of these objects, you can leave it in the locker provided for this purpose.
In general, objects made of metal or containing metal are prohibited, as are weapons and replica weapons. We remind you that only the security guards are able to judge whether an object is authorized to enter the festival grounds or not.
Health measures
We strictly follow the recommendations of the government concerning sanitary measures in the framework of the COVID-19 health crisis. As of 06/15/2022, there is no particular constraint concerning the reception of visitors at Japan Expo.
However, we can only recommend you to wear a mask and to disinfect your hands regularly, as the pandemic is not over...
