For 6 years now, the Japan Fashion Days have been following the most trendy designers from Japan and European creators inspired from Japanese, who always attend the festival to show their latest collection. Let's take a look at what was presented at Japan Expo this year!

TODOMACHI - Creators Tokyo Fashion Show

 
 

The group named Creators Tokyo, which currently includes 30 Tokyo-based designers, gave you the opportunity to discover 5 of them during a beautiful runway show on Sunday on the Ichigô stage.

You could admire some outfits by Neb aaran do, a label that likes to revisit the stylistic codes of school uniforms. If you prefer atypical clothes, you definitely were stunned by Yukihero Prowrestling’s collection. The brand is inspired by fashion, wrestling and heroes. You have discovered on stage models turned into modern superheroes with warrior or wild appearances.

Fans of casual clothes could admire GrassNote’s collection that mixes functional clothes which remind of the practical sports items and fashion. The brand MIDDLA likes to mix casual dresses with themes like music, mathematics or poetry. Romei was showing his 2016 autumn / winter collections which transforms casual clothes into trendy outfits

The fashion show Tremplins Mode Jeunes Créateurs (Young Designer Springboard) which took place on the Yuzu stage on Thursday featured a few European young stylists who draw their inspiration from what we like the most in Japanese culture.

Among them, you discovered ALIANSA’s creations inspired from kimono with refreshing and floral patterns.  Lola Fuwa’s kimono were a bit different. Her printed yukata had a sweet and fashy look with their citrus tones and natural colors, and foliage motifs or geometric patterns.

Jeff Dark Art offered a different atmosphere with his atypical collection of savage and Gothic dresses, full of elegance and charm.

The fashion show Tremplins Mode Jeunes Créateurs gave you a taste of what was awaiting you in the Young Designer Village, where you could see lots of splendid clothes that made you dream of a new look.

Other fashion booths were on the alleys. Among them, you could see the booth of the French designer AOI Clothing who was exposed his new collection of modern clothes inspired by traditional Japanese clothes. His outfits are both special and sophisticated.

You could also see the collections of the 5 designers of CREATORS TOKYO and lot of others designers. If you were looking for chic, kawaii and offbeat looks, you probably had the opportunity to renew your wardrobe on those booths.
