Fashion and taiko get together for AOI Clothing fashion show: TaikoKanou’s drums give the rhythm to the models presenting the urban, casual, festive and ethnical collection inspired from Japanese traditions!
Introduction
TaikoKanou is a troup created in Fabien KANOU in 2007. A musician above all, Fabien KANOU started music at age 7 at the music school and for his own pleasure above all. He specializes in drum instruments about 10 years later and tries all types of instruments of that type.
Today, he plays the taiko, Japanese drums, in various styles, ancient techniques related to martial arts. Making drums a martial art make it close to a philosophy of its own. Sound and movement are closely linked, which makes Fabien KANOU work on something new "therapeutical drums": a great tool to find energy and make it stronger.
TaikoKanou is joining the AOI Clothing fashion show to tell this new story to the rhythm of taiko, on July 2 on the Ichigô stage.
