Presentation
Arrived in Japan at the end of the 19th century, baseball, also called yakyû, is one of the most popular sport in Japan. Indeed, Japanese female and male teams have won many international competitions. It is this sport that the Tomcat Baseball Club from Tremblay-en-France is going to show you.
Program
Pioneer in French female baseball, the Tomcats Girls freed themselves from conventions to become in 2013 the first female baseball team in France. This year, they come back to Japan Expo to introduce you to this unconventional sport, with:
- a photo exhibit
- an initiation with the inflatable structure and the pitching machine of the team!
The Tomcat Girls invite you (especially girls, in line with their booth) to test baseball in a joyous and relaxed atmosphere!
