The traditional pop music group MIZMO are mixing modern songs and enka.
The 3 girls of MIZMO are bringing kobushi up to date, a form of melisma characteristic of enka singing: a single syllabe of the text is progressively sung while other notes are coming in the background.
They also mix traditional and modern Japan in their songs but also in their appearance. An innovative musical concept that will draw your attention.
