KIRIE cannot be categorized: drawing their inspiration through calligraphy, they create performances with dances and music that mix tradition and modernity. This year again, the collective is back at Japan Expo for a dazzling show.

KIRIE tells Japanese stories and legends through different styles of artistic performances. By mixing graphic art, music and dance, they are showing a new face of calligraphy. A mix of tradition and modernity based on recurrent themes like beauty and harmony. With vocal percussions in the background, they create original paintings from Japanese traditional patterns, to which they bring their own creative writing touch.
KIRIE is a gathering of several professional artists. They will take you through structured performances playing with materials and colors.
