Kikakuya is a professional kabuki theatre company. It plays many varied theatre performances, from the ninja dance to fight scenes, doll miming, and traditional kabuki dance.
The troup will show you the basics of the Japanese theatre tradition through contemporary performances.

Sennosuke WAKATSUKI
Sennosuke WAKATSUKI, Kikakuya’s leader, is a professor at Josai International University, and a professor of kabuki dance and fight demonstrations at the Wakatsuki school. He attended the 65th edition of NHK’s New Year’s show, Kôhaku, Japan’s most popular music TV show.
Sennosuke WAKATSUKI started his career as a kabuki actor after graduating from art college. His performances are a modern vision of a traditional art: he performs in many countries, often in embassies (Germany, Spain, Denmark, France, Equator, Argentina, USA, Malaysia…).
