Introduction
Nippon Food presents and promotes Japan’s highly diverse food culture to the world in cooperation with Gurunavi, Japan’s largest Internet restaurant guide, as well as leading food manufacturers, sake brewers, and food-related organizations in Japan.
Activities
During the workshops on the Washoku Area, talented young chefs will demonstrate the preparation of character bentô (boxed meals arranged to resemble animals, cartoon characters, etc.) created with the products of exhibiting companies and manufacturers as well as recipes that make imaginative use of Japanese seasonings.
They will give visiting young people other attendees an opportunity to enjoy the rich variety of Japanese foods and food culture through actual samplings and tastings.
