Created in 1909, Fukutarô was making cooking oil at the time but since then has diversified its products and became a major supplier for professionals.
In 1972, Fukutarô launched the making and sale of "Mentaiko", spiced roe. With a unique technique that marinates the product twice instead of once, Fukutarô’s Mentaiko has a rich and unique taste.
Today, the company is famous for their products "Menbei", a salt biscuit using Mentaiko, which has become Fukutarô’s most famous product and the inevitable gift from Fukuoka.
Fukutarô has a mission to make people happy through food, thanks to its products aimed at professionals and restaurants.
