What you had to see today

Japan Expo highlights its guests and offers you to see them working live: the attendees who were there were captivated by Yûsuke KOZAKI’s talent during his live drawing session. They attended the birth of one of his characters live as the chara-designer was answering their questions while drawing. 

If you were not there to see the exclusive extracts form the next movie by Mamoru HOSODA, you’ll have to wait until 2016 and the release of the film in theatres. By the way the audience reacted, those new extracts announce a new masterpiece realized by the director of A Leap through Time and Summer Wars. And the icing on the cake: a trip to Japan to win with an exclusive visit in Mamoru HOSODA’s studio, and a meeting with the director himself. Congrats to the lucky winner! 

Another highlight of the day: the World Cosplay Summit French selections! Cosplayers among the most talented in France paraded on the biggest cosplay stage in Europe. The attendees were definitely there to find out who will represent France for the finals in Japan in August: congrats to Lynah and Chibi Juice for their wonderful costumes and performance worthy of the most outstanding shows!

Another event to attend, absolutely for de Sword Art Online fans: the conference with Reki KAWAHARA, the novel author, and abec, the novel illustrator and anime chara-designer.

And let’s spice it up a bit with music: Yasuhari TAKANASHI & YAIBA will rock the Karasu stage, between rock and taiko, shakuhachi and shamisen.
