And of course we’ll start with the ECG finals: THE cosplay show you had to see! After several months making their costumes, creating their choreographies and rehearsing their performances, THE moment came. 11 bands and 11 solo cosplayers chosen to represent their countries paraded in front of the enchanted audience. To choose the winners, the jury was made of worldwide famous cosplayers: Yaya Han, Reika and Wirru. Another special guest: YOSHIKI, who had come to announce the sale of exclusive limited tickets for X Japan concert’s at Wembley Arena in London, only at Japan Expo, at the festival official shop (booth 6-C31, in hall 6). By the way, there are some of those 200 collector tickets left: more about it on this page.

Another highlight of the day: VAMPS’s show, a one hour-long J-rock concert! If the band has already conquered the world with their unique style and outstanding performances by HYDE (L’Arc~en~Ciel) and K.A.Z (Oblivion Dust), today, they captivated their audience at Japan Expo. A great moment that the viewers are not about to forget!
