The Okiagari Koboshi Project exhibit in Tokyo!

You remember the Okiagari Koboshi Project? Those little traditional dolls which get back up every time you knock them over like roly-poly toys, decorated by mangaka to support Fukushima, has been exhibited at Japan Expo in 2014.

Japan Expo 15th Impact had welcomed the Okiagari Koboshi Project association, with an exhibit featuring models of okiagari koboshi decorated by mangaka and workshops, supporting Fukushima. They also attended Japan Expo Sud 6th Wave the year after.

Many more mangaka have decorated dolls since then and the exhibit has been touring around the world. The manga-decorated okiagari koboshi are back in Japan at the moment, with the participation of The JAPAN Cartoonists Association (JCA), and they are exhibited at Meiji University Central Library in Tokyo, from February 9 to May 20, 2018.

If you’re in Tokyo at the moment, don’t miss this exhibit!
