MONOEYES: solidarity with the Tohoku Livehouse Daisakusen project

In order to support the victims of the tsunami from March 2011, MONOEYES is going to perform live at Japan Expo as part of the Tohoku Livehouse Daisakusen project!

Posted on

On March 11th, 2011, a devastating tsunami ravaged the Tohoku region in northeast Japan. To help the local population recover both physically and mentally, the Tohoku Livehouse Daisakusen project was created. It aims at rebuilding and equipping concert halls with the support of committed bands.

Three venues and one open-air stage were already rebuilt at Fukushima, but the rallying won’t stop there. To raise Europeans’ awareness about the Tohoku Livehouse Daisakusen project, the Brahman and Locofrank bands already toured in France back in 2015. One year later, French bands Burning Heads and Boogers went to Japan for a national tour, including infrastructures rebuilt in Tohoku.

This year, it is Japanese bands The Skippers and MONOEYES’ turn to promote the project in Europe. As part of the project, MONOEYES will perform live at Japan Expo!
