ECG Season 7: last news from the selections
The European Cosplay Gathering has traveled a lot in the last weeks and it’s time to come back over the last representatives selected in Portugal, Switzerland and Denmark!
Let’s start with Portugal who was welcoming the ECG selections on April 8-9 at Anicomics in Lisboa. And the cosplayers selected to represent the country at the finals are:
- In the solo category: Angelica in a costume from Heroes of the Storm
- In the group category: Darklight, Kali, and Chibi-Cat dans in costumes from Alice: Madness returns
Let’s have a look at Switzerland now whose selections were taking place the weekend after at Polymanga in Montreux, and the winners were:
- In the solo category: Tanysa in a costume from Heroes of the Storm
- In the group category: K5, Tinkerer Works, and Jigsawphia (from Haru no Hana Cosplay) in costumes from Krampus
And eventually, let’s find out the results of the Danish selections set at J-popcon in Copenhaguen last weekend:
- In the solo category: Night Cosplay in a costume from Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them
- In the group category: Amalia and Gwan in costumes from Corpse Bride
Congrats to all of them: we can’t wait to attend their performances at Japan Expo for the finals of the ECG Season 7 this summer.
And now, the next country choosing its representatives will be Romania, at East European Comic Con on May5-7 in Bucharest.
