Draw me a castle!
Among the hundreds castles built in the Sengoku era, 12 have braved the passing of time: don’t miss the exhibit dedicated to them at Japan Expo!

In the 15th and 16th century Japan, as feudal lords were craving for power, as samurai were fighting, majestic castles were rising all over the country. 12 of them remain today, featured in the exhibit Japanese castles, a stroll back in time, inspired from Julien and Denis MENTZER’s book, Japon, châteaux et sac à dos (Japan, Castles, and Backpacks, available in French only).
